                                                                      Red Cross elects Board Members

DrSteveDalhberg_s.jpgDr. Stephen “Steve” Dahlberg was elected chairman of the board of directors for the Snohomish County Chapter of the American Red Cross at the chapter’s annual meeting, June 17.  Dahlberg is a physician with The Everett Clinic at Harbour Pointe in Everett.  He succeeds Tim Serban, director of mission integration and spiritual care, Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

 

Dahlberg has been a Red Cross volunteer as a board member since 2004, and has served as a member of the board’s financial development committee and executive board.

 

He was honored by the Red Cross with its Real Heroes Award in 2006 for joining a fellow Everett physician in providing a life-saving response to a skier who suffered a massive cardiac arrest at Stevens Pass.

 

In addition to volunteering with Red Cross, Dahlberg is scoutmaster for Troop 114 of Everett.  He and his wife, Nancy, and their three sons reside in Mukilteo.

Other elected officers are Pat Sisneros, 1st vice chair; LeAnne Harrington, 2nd vice chair; Eric Sprink, treasurer; Leslie Hynes, secretary; Peter Harvey, audit committee; Mark McClure, financial development and Rebecca Torgerson, nominating committee.

 

New board members are Amy Drewel, American Family Insurance; Kelvin Moore, Lynnwood Convention Center; Aspasta Sotiriou, Key Bank.
